Benefits
We provide NEXT employees with a benefits package that is supportive of their well being and financial stability. Below are some of our offerings.
Medical
- Coverage begins on the first of the month following the employee’s one month anniversary.
- An in network deductible of $2,500 is reimbursed by NEXT leaving ZERO deductible.
- NEXT pays a portion on the premiums.
- Employees do not have to see their primary caregiver first in order to see a specialist (POS).
Dental
- Coverage begins on the first month following the employee’s one month anniversary.
- Anyone family member is eligible regardless of participation in the health plan.
- Employees may choose any dentist.
- Reimbursement turnaround is very prompt.
401(k)
- Employees can participate after one month of service beginning at the first of any quarter.
- Qualified pretax deferrals are a maximum of $15,500 for the 2008 plan year.
- Several funds to choose from including American and Pioneer.
- NEXT matches dollar for dollar for the first 3% and $0.50 on the dollar for the next 2%.
Flexible Spending Accounts
- Employees may set aside a portion of their pretax earnings to pay for dependent care and/or non-reimbursed medical/dental/vision expenses.
- Eligibility begins on the first of the month following the employee’s one month anniversary.

- Company paid life insurance and long term disability.
- Vacation, Sick, Bereavement, Jury Duty, and Holiday pay is available.
- Corporate discount with 24 hour fitness with waived processing and initiation fees
Fun Stuff at NEXT Financial Group
Big Holiday Party
We have an annual holiday party where we bring out our fanciest clothes and enjoy dinner. There maybe some dancing or even a game of Texas Hold Em.
Movie Night
NEXT rents out the Alamo theatre for a private viewing of a new release blockbuster movie. Occasionally, we plan one showing for the kids and one for the adults. A chaperone is provided for the children. Popcorn, pizza, cookies, and drinks are on the house!
Catered Lunches
We have BBQ, Mexican, Italian, or other food selections brought in for employees either as a Company treat or a treat from our appreciative Reps.
Birthday Parties
We celebrate every employee’s birthday by singing and enjoying cake together.
Baseball/Football Night
Depending on the game, we plan a night of fun with coworkers at Minute Maid Park or Reliant Stadium.
Opportunities to Improve
- Sponsor and pay for employees to obtain any industry certifications necessary for your position.
- NEXT gives all employees the opportunity to interview for positions within the company before recruiting externally.
- Offer training on operating systems or programs needed to enhance job performance.
- Customer Service training is provided each quarter to keep the NEXT culture alive.
- Annual leadership retreats are offered to employees who show leadership qualities and abilities.
